Skull and bones.

Skull prints to celebrate Halloween?? Yes, please! Who says Halloween can't be a fashionable occasion?

I am lounging at the moment, watching the Raptors' opening game while sporting a skull tee by Talula (above). I'm going to top the night off with tonight's episode of American Horror Story. How awesome is season 2?? Aaand maybe another scary movie afterwards...

Have a great night, everyone xoxo

Happy Halloween!

This past week has been very hectic, hence why I've been sorta MIA lately. I have some fashion highlights to share of course...

... as well as some shots from a Halloween bash I attended on Saturday!

Mike and I were so swamped this week- we had roughly an hour-long window of opportunity for finding a costume. Although we had some great ideas, we quickly realized that most of them required a little more prep time. So in a pinch, we headed to one of our local costume pop-up shops and worked with what we could find... and it turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself!

Side note- we saw Paranormal Activity 4 on Friday night... I haven't been sleeping right since. Those movies are so deliciously creepy... I heart Halloween and scary movies :)

What are you dressing up as for Halloween?

Comfy, cozy.

There's nothing I love more than a lazy Sunday... and lazy autumn Sundays call for cozy knits! Oversized sweaters don't have to look sloppy either- the right bottoms and accessories can make for a comfortable yet polished look. I like to pair my knits with a statement necklace or printed jegging, just for an added element of intrigue :)

Hope you all had a great weekend :)

Act your age, not your shoe size.

I love playing around with fun prints and funky jewelry... but once in a while, I have to come to terms with the fact that I'm 28 and need to act (and dress!) like a grown-up. Sounds so boring, doesn't it? Hehe :)

I recently had a more conservative and "adult" event to attend in honour of my dad. I decided to go with a black, long sleeve Michael Kors dress. It had the sophistication required for the night, but I couldn't resist throwing on some fun earrings to jazz up the outfit!

So what will I never give up? My band tees! I will forever remain a concert junkie, and I love to dress the part too. Once in a while, I like to throw on a blazer over top... it's a rockstar's version of business casual ;)

Look du jour.

Just a little outfit I put together for the Alabama Shakes concert on Tuesday... 'twas a fantastic show!

Brittany Howard is an incredibly gifted singer and guitarist... how can one gal be so darn talented?!
