Goodnight, DLL!

Wow, has this ever been a crazy few weeks! Birthdays, a wedding... it's felt like a non-stop celebration!

Most significantly, I just finished my last day with DLL. It was truly a bittersweet day. As much as I know that it was high time for my leasing career to end, I can't even express how tremendously grateful I am for all that DLL has given me- a memorable trip to the East Coast, countless friendships that I hope will last a lifetime, and most importantly- the love of my life :) Oh yeah... and an iPad, hehe.
I will miss my friends there beyond words- I'll never find coworkers like them anywhere, they're one in a million! Nonetheless, I am excited for what the future has in store for me... positive thoughts all the way :)

On another note- thought I would throw in some fashion highlights from the rest of my celebrations...

Have a great long weekend everyone! xoxo

Wish list.

Wish lists are always fun, aren't they?
Even when your birthday has come and gone, and Christmas is months away... I always love a little virtual window shopping!
Here are some items I'm lusting after...

BesoBeso "Barbie" ring in gold w/purple.

Sam Edelman "Trina" sandals

Rebecca Minkoff studded bag with tasseled zipper

Zara Gold Double chain belt with pearls

Channel gold link bracelet

Vanessa Mooney "Harmony" wrap bracelet

No wish list is complete without a fun top from Urban Outfitters...

... or 2!

I've said it once and I'll say it again- LOVE the Alice + Olivia box pleat leather skirt.

I could keep going... but I think I'll stop for now :)
What's on your wishlist?

Case of the Mondays...

Sooo as you may or may not know- my leasing career is coming to an end in two weeks! I'm embarking on an exciting new adventure as a stylist (yay!). Needless to say, as much as I have enjoyed my time with my current employer-  I'm approaching tomorrow with a completely refreshed attitude :)

Anyway, being as fashion-obsessed as I am, I've always struggled some with diversifying my office attire. I love to be fashion-forward, but sometimes it can be difficult to add your own stylistic twist while being confined by an office dress code. Not gonna lie- I cannot wait to get a little more adventurous with my daily wardrobe at my new job!

My two biggest pieces of advice when it comes to dressing for the office?
1- Dress for the job you want, not the job you have.
2- Don't be afraid to experiment within reason (think Olivia Palermo!). There is always a way to incorporate originality and flare into your wardrobe- even if you're just wearing a pantsuit ;)

Here's some inspiration (I need this tweed jacket in my life!)...

Osheaga.

Hiya, hope you all had a fantastic long weekend!

Mine was eventful to say the least- as I mentioned, I headed East to Montreal for Osheaga. I'm definitely no music festival virgin, but this one reeeally gave me a kick in the butt!
Started off the experience by getting hit in the head, resulting in a nice gash cutting through my eyebrow (the new Nelly, didn't ya know?).. but hey, gotta muddle through and let yourself have a good time anyway!

List of acts I saw? Of Monsters and Men, Franz Ferdinand, The Weeknd, Justice, Florence & The Machine, Santigold, Metric, Black Keys, Bloc Party, Black Angels, Common... just to name a few! Overall a great time, with just a few hiccups along the way. Besides, I always love going to back to my former home, especially when I get to see some old familiar faces (ahem, Marebear!).

As promised, I wanted to share some pictures from the weekend (as you can see, fashion became less of a focal point as the weekend progressed and rain continued):

Summatime, and the livin's easy...

Getting ready for my Montreal getaway... sooo excited :)
This has definitely been one of those weeks that merit a weekend reward in a huge way, so I couldn't be happier to get away for a few days!
The upcoming weekend has me thinking about the East Coast trip I took in June (PEI to Nova Scotia), so I thought I'd share some pictures (focusing on the outfits, of course!)...
