Shoe fetish.

Shoes and boots are some of my favourite wardrobe pieces to shop for. Footwear can single-handedly make or break an outfit! No matter what kind of mood you're in- there's nothing like a new pair of heels to put a smile on your face. These are some awesome choices:
These over-the-knee boots are on their way to me as we speak :) I have the same pair in brown suede, and they are THE most comfortable and awesome boots EVER. I just needed another pair!!

Just for kicks.

I love fun, feminine outfits.
You know what would be super awesome? Winning the lottery.
I'm talking a maaajor jackpot, so that I could go on a massive shopping spree in Paris, Milan, Tokyo and New York (and still have cash left over for a nice ride and a new pad).
Sigh, that would make for all sorts of fun outfits :)

Yumi Kim.

Watch for this designer, y'all.
She's goooood.
Her designs borrow elements of vintage prints and silhouettes while adding modern twists. Aritzia carries a few of her pieces, and they are absolutely gorgeous. I have put aside a wicked dress of hers for myself, and plan to purchase it as soon as I get paid (I'll be sure to post pics as soon as I get it!)

xoxo, Gossip Girl.

Gawd, this show is my heroine.
And I think most fashionistas would agree... my Mondays are spent eagerly awaiting 8 pm, when I can finally check out B and S's awesome ensembles.

P.S. How AWESOME is tonight's episode gonna be?? Can't wait to see the old, sassy Serena Van Der Woodsen back in action.

Wedding bells.

Rachel Bilson designed this beautiful bridesmaid gown, with the help of Brian Reyes.
I love the fresh, mint green colour and subtle pleating detail.
To die for.

Michelle Vale.

I love purses. I love all things vintage.
Michelle Vale offers a perfect (albeit very pricey) harmony of the two. Her bags come in limited numbers, and have a distinct vintage vibe to them. They're absolutely gorge!

Navajo chic.

I'm loving all things Navajo-inspired. Seriously, fringed edges and beaded detail makes me very happy. Not to mention the colourful prints and dreamcatcher-like patterns. I could upload about a thousand images I love that fall into this theme, but alas, I have narrowed it down to these beauties...

Going, going to Cali, Cali.

I'm going to LA in a little over a week (yay!!). Besides the many, many things I plan to do while there, I definitely want to hit up a few shops. I found these shots inspiring and plan to hunt for some cute outfits along these lines...
Oh, and I'm randomly throwing in a cute little purse I've had my eye on for a while.

Festival Season.

I had the pleasure of hitting up a few festivals this summer, and hope to attend V-fest come September (work permitting... fingers crossed!)
I found these images from Glastonbury quite inspiring. Contrary to Coachella's notorious desert heat, I had to deal with torrential rainfall at every festival I went to this summer, and so badly wished I could have been wearing a pair of Wellies, much like the ladies below...

Fancy footwork.

Decisions, decisions.
I don't know which of these beauties to purchase next:

(the ones I want are tan... though the teal version is cute too!)

(he ones I want have more of a blackish-wooden heel)

Hipsters can be cute too.

Love this look.
Loooove.
Yes, it's painfully Queen St. West, but I love the splash of colour and simple detail. I've been thinking of getting this AA skirt for some time, but I'm still not so convinced it looks that great on me, gotta try it on a couple dozen more times, lol.

Little bit of this, little bit of that.

I know, I know, it's been ages since my last post. I've just had sooo much going on... still no reason to neglect P's closet!
Here are a few images I've collected over the past little while. Love these looks and pieces (all different, but amazing nonetheless).
Usually not a fan of LaLohan, but I loved this dress!
The second image is of Ashley Tisdale sporting a pair of beautiful Matt Bernson sandals that I would love to find somewhere. Holla atcha girl if you know where I can buy these beauties.
On another note, I must check out a boutique on Queen West called Brazen Hussy. I've never been, but my boss found the most adorable tulip silk skirt there, so I assume there is more where that came from.

Party Dress.

I want this dress to work on me sooo badly. But I have a feeling it might not :(
It comes in a gorgeous teal colour that I have my eye on. Sigh.
I would most likely pair it with the pumps below.

I love these outfits. Simple, yet chic.
I also added a pair of Gwyneth's shoes in there.... so cute!

Let's talk music.

Some of these are kinda new, some of these aren't so new (but rediscovered amidst my i-tunes library).
These are a few songs I listen to, like ALL the time... check 'em out.

We Own the Sky- M83
Konichiwa Bitches- Robyn
Cobrastyle- Robyn
I'm a lady- Santogold
You'll Find a Way- Santogold
Heartbeats- The Knife
In The Morning- Junior Boys
American Terrorist- Lupe Fiasco
Electric Feel- MGMT
Kids- MGMT
Hide and Seek- Imogen Heap
Transylvanian Concubine- Rasputina
Black City- Division of Laura Lee
Championship Pop Bottles- BirdMan ft Lil Wayne

Just for fun.

I don't really dabble into the world of interior design (although I went through a phase of wanting to pursue such a career... I think a lot of people do).
Anyway, I've come across these images over the past few months, and felt they were worth sharing.
I love the way that these spaces have been used... such excellent composition, and I dig the simple, fresh colour palette.
I'd love for my office to be done up similarly to picture #1...

My recent love affair.

For the past two years, I've loved the idea of low armhole tanks. I searched and searched, but the ones I could find always fit really weird, and I was about to give up on the hunt.
Fortunately, I have scored a whole bunch of them this year at work, and they fit so nicely! I literally wear them with eeeeverything, over bandeaus, tube tops, other tanks, dresses etc... so in love! And I like to mix it up, pairing fun colours together, or playing around with interesting graphics and prints.

P.S. Yeah, I love stuffed animals... what?
